Hand knit and crochet using high quality natural, soft yarns and fabrics. I rarely use a pattern accept as a starting point. I love starting with a vintage pattern, like the Irish rose motif or vintage doily motifs and create modern items of clothing with them.

Irish Rose Filet Crochet Scarf
I used a vintage bedspread pattern as a starting point for this scarf. It is crocheted from Patton's Grace cotton yarn. the roses are surrounded with a lattice work of filet "thorns" and are then crocheted together.
